Levi Knight FullerSt. John the Divine Tiffany window was given in honor of Levi Knight Fuller born 1841 died October 10, 1896, and buried in Morningside Cemetery formerly known as Cemetery Hill in Brattleboro, VT. He died at the age of 55 from overwork and anemia. Former Governor of Vermont 1892-1894, former Lt Governor, former State Senator, Colonel in the National Guard and an engineer and vice-president in the Estey Organ Company of Brattleboro. He was one of the original founders of Shaw University in North Carolina, known as the mother of Black Colleges in the South. |
